OVERVIEW
About the Symposium
The rapid advancement of generative AI is transforming research, industry, and society. As large language models (LLMs) continue to grow in scale and capability, ensuring their transparency, reliability, and safety and promoting responsible AI development and open research have become an important global challenge.
This symposium will focus on the challenges surrounding the research and development of open LLMs. Researchers, developers, participants from companies and other organizations, and members of the open-source community in Japan and abroad will share their latest research findings and insights.
Through special lectures by international researchers, presentations on the activities and achievements of LLMC and LLM-jp, poster presentations, and a discussion with the special lecturers, we will explore the current state and future directions of open LLM development.
